Renzo is best known for bringing Sicily to South Florida. A bit of heaven in every bite, as Renzo has defined the market with three locations in Boca Raton and a NEW location in Parkland, FL.
This "Zagat Rated" Restaurant has been written up many times by "Boca Magazine".
"Renzo's" prides itself as one of the best dining establishments Florida. His warm and friendly atmosphere makes you feel like you are dining at home. It is no wonder his customers have been going there repeatedly since he established over 20 years ago.
If you enjoy being treated like one of the family, you can dine at "Renzo's" and have a hearty, yet authentic Italian meal. Within the four locations there is something for everyone, and "Renzo's" is "kid friendly". For those of us who have children, it is nice to be able to feel so comfrtable and taken care of. For those folks who like to dine in a more romantic setting, Renzo's restaurants are very accomdating for all occassions as well.
Advertisement The staff in each restaurant is hand picked specifically by Renzo himself. They are professional and friendly, yet warm and personable. You may even meet some of Renzo's actual family members, as they also work in the restaurants to create that "family feel".
Within the restaurants are several characteristics that places my five stars on these establishments. The music in each location sets the mood to enhance your dining experience. The casual atmosphere and Italian friendly feel in "Renzo's Cafe & Pizzeria" gives you a delightful feeling of being in a fresh pizza bakery right in Sicily!
As for the food, the portions are not skimpy. My suggestion is to order a few of the dishes and share just so you don't deprive your taste buds. Everything on the menu is a special creation by Renzo himself, but I have to say one of favorites is the "Angel Hair Veneziana" this dish is my perfect ensemble of ingredients, from the Shrimp, Scallops and Cognac Cream, to the Lite Marinara Sauce made by Renzo (and sold at Cosco stores nationwide). If you try any of Renzo's homemade sauces mixed with virtually any of his homemade ingredients, you will be very happy with your overall experience. If you're in the mood for a pasta dish order the "Penne Con Vodka" dish, it is a simple pleasure. As far as your chicken or veal dishes, I suggest the "Chicken Picatta with Capers" or the "Veal Scallopini with Mushrooms". If you're mouth isn't watering yet, for dessert, try the "Tiramisu", it will knock your sox off.
Chef Joseph Carriero is also a seasoned Chef at Renzo's new location in Parkland. He has been with Renzo since the beginning and if you are lucky enough to have him as your chef, you will definitely enjoy that experience.
The Parkland location is a quaint, yet serene feel. The murals on the wall make you feel like you are sitting in Italy, while dining in a place with beautiful woodwork and a wood burning fire pizza and bread oven. Your senses will be overloaded with the scent of fresh bread and the feeling of an Italian village restaurant. You can enjoy music played on the piano while this restaurant takes you on a mini vacation as you enjoy your lunch or dinner.
If you are a wine lover, Renzo has created a wine list for his restaurants that pair perfectly with his cuisine. It has select wines from all over the world. He works with a sommelier who is known for bringing the the finest wines into some of Florida's most recognizable and popular establishments.
